The glass multi-span greenhouse is a kind of greenhouse, mainly a multi-span greenhouse with glass as the lighting material. The main purpose of the ventilation of the glass multi-span greenhouse is to remove moisture and waste heat in the greenhouse, remove harmful gases to the human body, and better adjust the air composition in the greenhouse so that the air and humidity in the greenhouse have reached the ambient level. The temperature is more suitable for the growth of plants. The ventilation of glass multi-span greenhouses generally adopts two forms:

1. Natural ventilation: Glass multi-span greenhouses rely on natural ventilation to adjust the indoor environment most of the time. The structural form of large-scale productive glass multi-span greenhouses is generally double-slope multi-span greenhouses, and the ventilation form is to set ventilation windows on the side walls and roof ridges. The total ventilation area is not less than 15% of the greenhouse floor area, preferably greater than 30%. When the ridge window is opened, the window sash should preferably be inclined upward beyond the horizontal plane, and form an angle of 100 with the horizontal plane when fully opened, so that a good ventilation effect can be obtained. The ventilation volume of natural ventilation is related to wind speed, wind direction, position of ventilation window, area of ​​ventilation window and temperature difference between inside and outside of the greenhouse.

 

2. Forced ventilation: Although glass multi-span greenhouses rely on natural ventilation to adjust the environment most of the time, when the temperature is high in summer, especially in hot weather when the outdoor temperature exceeds 33°C, natural ventilation alone cannot meet the cooling requirements of the greenhouse. It is a common method in production to adopt forced ventilation and cooperate with other measures to cool down. Forced ventilation is the use of fans to convert electrical energy or other mechanical energy into wind energy, and forced air flow to perform greenhouse ventilation and achieve cooling effects.
